Come and See
What is OCIA?
OCIA is the Church's ancient way of walking with adults who are seeking Christ and exploring the Catholic faith. It's much more than a class. We pray together, open Scripture, learn what the Church teaches, begin practicing the Catholic way of life, and discern where God is leading.
No one is expected to arrive with everything figured out. You're invited to come with your questions and take the journey one step at a time within the life of the Church.
Discover Ancient Christianity
The Catholic Church is not a modern invention. She is rooted in the faith of the apostles and has handed on the Christian faith for nearly two thousand years.
Encounter Jesus Christ
At the heart of Catholicism is not an idea, but a Person. Through Scripture, prayer, worship, and the sacraments, we come to know Jesus Christ and learn to follow Him.
Enter a Living Tradition
OCIA invites you into the faith, prayer, worship, and way of life Christians have received and lived from the earliest centuries of the Church—within a community that will walk with you.
Respond to God's Call
Take the journey prayerfully, with personal accompaniment and time to discern where God is leading you.
