August 11, 2026—Faith: We Are Made for God, Part 2

This week we continue exploring what it means to be made for a relationship with God and called to respond to Him in faith. Through the persistent faith of the Canaanite woman the gospel reading, the witness of Mary, and the coming Solemnity of the Assumption, we’ll reflect on what it means to trust God, receive the faith of the Church, and persevere in prayer. Before Tuesday evening, please read Journey Through the Catechism, Chapter 1, Questions 8 through the chapter summary, along with Question 72 on the Assumption. Bring the Gathering Guide and any questions the reading raises.
