This week we begin Chapter 2 of Journey Through the Catechism: God, Creation, and the Fall. We’ll continue our journey through what Catholics believe while also listening closely to Jesus’ question in this Sunday’s Gospel: “Who do you say that I am?” and ponder what faith in God looks like.

Before Tuesday evening, please read Chapter 2 introduction and Questions 13–17. When the reading discusses the Creeds, refer back to the Creed on page 8. Bring your Gathering Guide and any questions the reading raises. Please come ready to share your thoughts.

We’ll also look ahead to the feast of St. Bernard of Clairvaux on August 20 and continue learning how the Church’s liturgical year, Scripture, and the Catechism fit together in the Christian life.

Grow in and strengthen your faith by learning and praying the Catholic "Act of Faith" in this great video.
