September 22, 2026—The Life of Christ: The Paschal Mystery, Part 1

This week we begin moving into the mystery at the heart of the Christian faith: the saving Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus. We’ll begin exploring what the Church means by the Paschal Mystery, and why the Cross is not a tragic ending to Jesus’ life, but part of God’s saving work for us.

Before Tuesday evening, please read Journey Through the Catechism, Chapter 4 introduction and Questions 38–44. Bring your Gathering Guide and anything in the reading that catches your attention, raises a question, or helps you see Christ’s saving work more deeply.
